Scenes from Dramatic Adventure Quiz Keith & Lucy, a 1993 Visco trivia game that will mercifully just be called Keith & Lucy hereafter. One of Japan’s many quirky knowledge quizzers, Keith & Lucy lets you play as either Keith or Lucy (I know, spoilers!), both detectives for The “Intellect Police,” an anti-crime unit whose ability to shoot and apprehend criminals always seems to hinge on knowing things like what the length of military banners was under the reign of Emperor Meiji.
That’s probably not a real question. I wouldn’t know, because I can’t read Japanese. Regardless, Keith and Lucy’s dramatic, adventurous journey will have them dealing with things like a mysterious criminal cult, space aliens, and even a plot to destroy the Intellect Police from the inside using android doubles of themselves. Any resemblance between Keith and John de Lancie is, I assume, coincidental. I don’t know what the context is without understanding the language, but the last picture here (the final panel of the game) strikes me as a little too creepily intimate for two people who are supposedly just partners.
