Classic game wallpaper time. Six legendary arcade games in the 1980s helped cement Sega as a video game force to be reckoned with. While Altered Beast and Golden Axe were side-scrollers, the other four games dealt with an area that no other company was able to deliver on in quite the same way: pseudo-3D. With impressive sprite-scaling capabilities and very limited polygon use (generally to create a motion-line effect on the ground), Sega delivered a sense of depth and speed that no one else could. Although these desktop wallpapers are understandably stationary, you can still relive those days of wonder now.
Because none of these games supported proper dimensions for wallpapers and because of the games putting irritating text like scores in the way, these were all put together by hand.
